The club promised a delicious lunch, a visit with the Westminster BIS winner, and insights from the BIS judge. It
delivered all three in spectacular fashion! A fitting way to end the most glamorous week in the dog world!

Lunch with the Metropolitan Dog Club the day after Westminster is a new tradition that I predict
will be around for a long time to come. It mixes the love and respect for the dog show with an
urban, even urbane, sensibility. It's a gathering of both the dog show elite and some of the
city's dog-loving elite. It's the perfect place for a writer to mingle with the key players from
the Best in Show judge to the Best in Show beagle.
